  General Notes:

Mary moved south to obtain work as a domestic servant. It was when she was living in Blackheath that she met George Ranger in about 1894/5. Raised seven children was a good kind and hard working mother. After her husband George died she went to live with her son Bert, later she moved in with a widow friend in Eridge, Sussex as a companion.

Mary married George Ranger, son of George Ranger and Emma Knight, on 27 Apr 1895 in St Margarets, Underriver, Kent. (George Ranger was born on 26 Apr 1868 in Underriver, Seal, Kent, died in Apr 1940 in Hawkenbury, Tunbridge Wells, Kent and was buried in Apr 1940 in Cemetery, Hawkenbury, Tunbridge Wells, Kent.)
